Drawing on extensive trauma informed experience as a Registered Clinical Social Worker, I provide effective, nonjudgmental, and compassionate care, addressing various issues detailed on my website. Using relationship first, I empower individuals to achieve lasting change in a safe, authentic space, by capitalizing on their strengths. Additionally I am also equipped to address grief and trauma associated with animals. By utilizing Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to facilitate healing from experiences such as animal euthanasia, accidents, horse falls, and or dog bites.
Kristel, an Indigenous Registered Social Worker, holds a master’s in clinical social work from the University of Calgary. She integrates Reiki and counseling for holistic healing, drawing from her experience in addiction treatment and board membership. Kristel operates from a heart-centered approach, blending a bio-psycho-social-spiritual framework with Indigenous perspectives, offering compassion, intuition, and empathy as her healing medicine.
