Intensive Outpatient Program Continuing Care (IOPCC)

What is the goal of the IOPCC program?

The goal of the IOPCC is to expand people’s recovery awareness and program by exploring how topics like acceptance, boundaries, contentment, and compassion fit into their current action steps. There is a strong focus on processing issues that are personal and specific to the individuals in the group in the context of the ABCs of recovery framework with an emphasis on relationships.

Who is this program for?

The IOPCC is suitable for those who have previously completed HUM’s Intensive Outpatient Program and who are looking for some additional education, support, and structure in their recovery.

How is the program delivered?

The IOPCC is a five day program that consists of two educational sessions, group therapy, and meditation during each day of the program.

When can someone start the IOPCC program, and are there any prerequisites?

The IOPCC is offered two times per year, typically in the spring and fall. The only prerequisite is that someone has previously completed HUM’s IOP. To get started, please contact the HUM office.
