There are many individuals who have Addiction and are pursuing recovery who have been diagnosed with other mental health disorders-this is called dual diagnosis or concurrent disorders in the healthcare community. This week we explore some potential problems with this approach as well as what ‘concurrent disorders’ really means for treatment.
